I'll be honest. When we first wrote our book, I was thinking about how the message of The Culturally Conscious Board would impact boardroom tables. An unexpected surprise has been how the message has resonated not just with boards, but with individuals seeking more civility in our culture. Building trust. Modeling humility. Extending hospitality. These are messages we ALL need to hear.
